Full Websites

I have over seven years of experience building websites, primarily from the ground up. The first sites I produced were hand-coded HTML; more recent projects have been upgraded to hand-coded XHTML and CSS. I also have recent experience with using PHP and Smarty and have assisted with maintaining sites built using these languages.

Templates

As both hobby work and to increase my level of productivity, I have created several ready-to-use templates over the years. Templates minimize the time spent perfecting the layout of a new site and also provide clients with a variety of layouts and color schemes to choose from for their own sites.

The examples displayed here are free for use by the public.

Program Experience

Graphic design and coding abilities are part and parcel of building websites. I have had experience using most of the Adobe products although I prefer to use other, equally-powerful software. Most of my graphic design elements are produced using Corel Paint Shop Pro and my sites are hand-coded; I choose to hand-code rather than use WYSIWYGs such as DreamWeaver or FrontPage because it affords more control over the final appearance of the pages.
