Welcome to Kestrana's Website Creation & Construction

As a website designer, one of my primary goals to is make websites user-friendly. Some "professionally developed" websites you may visit are nigh on impossible to navigate, and ultimately end up frustrating the user. Other websites, while flashy, take forever to load, and often do not load the same for every user. Another goal is to make the website appear professional without the aforementioned downsides of lack of user-friendliness or long download times. These design rules are foremost in my mind when creating websites for my clients.

Another of my goals is to satisfy or exceed the expectations of my clients. My construction timetables are designed with plenty of time for fiddling and debugging, but ideally I will have finished the client's site well ahead of my timetable.

Taking this into consideration, I try to not give price quotes based on a time estimate, but rather on a structure estimate--basing my prices on the complexity of the objects used to build websites. This generally allows me to meet my hourly wage goal because, in general, the objects all take about the same amount of time to construct, no matter the content of the website.

For a very brief explanation of my education, the programs I am familiar with, and a list of projects I have completed, you may view my résumé (in PDF format).

The Forums site is an Acornrack-hosted site where I post new pieces I've done. I like the forum setup because it allows me to receive feedback on my work on a more specific level than comments delivered through an email.
